School Web Development Programme – Vol. 03 Successfully Concluded

The School Web Development Programme – Vol. 03 was successfully held on 29th October at Computer Lab 03, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya. The event was organized by the Society of Information Technology and Humanities Students (SITHS) under the guidance of the Department of Information Technology. The programme aimed to enhance web development skills among school students and inspire them to explore the world of technology and innovation. The session was conducted by Mr. Pramitha Weerasekara, with the Head of the Department, Prof. Sakunthala, sharing her valuable thoughts and encouragement at the opening ceremony. Students from St. Sylvester’s College, Swarnamali Girls’ College, and Pilimathalawa Central College enthusiastically participated in the session. Throughout the workshop, students gained hands-on experience in modern web design and development practices, fostering creativity and teamwork. The Department extends its appreciation to all participants, organizers, and facilitators for making this event a success and looks forward to continuing this impactful initiative in future editions.
